Wordfall Privacy Policy
Effective date: 27 August 2026
Wordfall is a word game provided by Jaguar Computers Ltd. This policy explains how the game handles information when you choose to enable Online Leaderboards.
Information we process
When you enable Online Leaderboards and submit a score to a Wordfall leaderboard, we process:
- your chosen player name;
- an app-generated player identifier used to associate your scores with your display name;
- your score, number of words found, game duration, leaderboard type and date; and
- technical request information, such as IP address and browser or device information, in normal server logs used for security and operation.
Your display name, score, number of words found and game duration are public on the leaderboard. Do not use your real name or include personal information in your player name.
Why we use this information
We use it to operate leaderboards, identify a player’s best score, prevent duplicate names and abuse, and maintain the reliability and security of the service.
Storage, sharing and retention
Leaderboard data is sent over HTTPS to Wordfall’s server at games.jaguarcomputers.co.uk. It is made public only through the in-game leaderboard. We do not sell personal information, and this version of Wordfall contains no advertising SDKs or analytics services. We keep leaderboard records while the service is operated unless they are removed earlier for security, moderation or a valid deletion request.
Your choices
Online Leaderboards are off by default and can be enabled or disabled in Wordfall’s Settings. To request removal of a display name or associated leaderboard scores, email neil@jaguarcomputers.co.uk with the player name and approximate score date. See the Wordfall data request page for the information to include.
Children
Wordfall is not designed for children under 13. Do not submit personal information as a player name. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the leaderboard, contact us using the method above so that we can review and remove it where appropriate.
